We are pleased to announce that Gonnon Primary School received the National Quality Label for the eTwinning project entitled "Green", which was implemented last school year by the 4th and 5th grades under the guidance of the Principal, Mrs. Apostolina Saiti.
The project involved teachers Mr. Robertos Karatzos, Mr. Petros Barmapiannis, Mr. Dimitris Siozios and Mr. Christodoulos Tsiourvas.
The "Green" project offered a holistic approach to education, combining environmental awareness with the development of students' digital and language skills. Through collaboration with students from other countries, the participants had the opportunity to exchange ideas, share experiences and develop joint actions. The project promoted sustainable development, international friendship and strengthened intercultural understanding and cooperation.
The project involved 18 teachers and 118 students from 6 countries: Turkey (7 schools), Greece (5 schools), Poland (4 schools), Italy (1 school), Azerbaijan (1 school) and France (1 school). The students had the opportunity to develop their critical thinking and cultivate important skills for the future.
Gonnon Primary School continues to innovate in the educational process, contributing to the formation of active citizens with environmental and social awareness. Congratulations to all who participated and contributed to the success of the project!
