Event for the dissemination of the results of the Erasmus+ KA1 program of Primary School of Gonni

On Friday, June 10, 2022, an event was held at Primary School of Gonni to disseminate the results of the Erasmus+ KA1 program with contract code 2020-1-EL01-KA101-078242 and title "The Neurolinguistic Approach to Teaching and the Influence of a Successful Educational System, Create a School Open to Life" implemented by the school. 

The director of the school Mrs. Konstantina Boutou informed the attendees about the European trajectory in which the Primary School of Gonni is moving, as from 2016 until today the school has implemented three European Erasmus+ KA1 programs and 6 mobilities in total. She mentioned the changes that have taken place in the school, a result of influence from the implementation of the European projects as well as the positive impact that the programs have on the participating teachers, on the educational process and on the school in general.

Then the two mobilities that took place in the 2021-2022 school year were presented.

Mr. Georgios Alexandris and Ms. Paraskevi Tsiourva presented the material from the 1st mobility that took place in Dublin, Ireland in November 2021, with the training topic "The Education System of Ireland". The history and culture of Ireland, their influence on the education system as well as the differences between the Irish and Greek education systems were analyzed.

The director of the school Mrs. Konstantina Boutou and Mrs. Apostolina Saiti presented the material from the 2nd mobility held in Martinique, Caribbean in April 2022 on the subject of "Neuroeducationandcoaching". The way the human brain works and new techniques for guiding the learning process, centered on the brain, were presented. Gamification techniques and brain training techniques that can be implemented in and out of the classroom environment were presented.

The event was attended by parents as well as representatives of institutions and clubs. The University of Larissa was represented by Konstantina Chatzimichou-Kalousi, Head of School Activities of Larisa, the Municipality of Tempo was represented by Mr. Vassilis Simos Deputy Mayor D.E. Gonnon and Mr. Vassilis Karavides the Folklore Museum of Gonni.

The material that has been developed from the European programs implemented by Primary School of Gonni over the years is available in printed form and is available to all teachers. We hope that this material will lead to the implementation of new teaching techniques and improve the educational process for the benefit of our students.
