Gonnon Primary School:

enthusiastically participated in the Bebras® student computational thinking competition on Monday, November 11, 2024. In the computer lab, students from grades 1 and 2 had the opportunity to test their knowledge and skills in an environment full of joy and creativity.
The children's participation was coordinated by the school's Principal, Mrs. Apostolina Saiti, with the help of teachers Mr. Georgios Alexandris, Mr. Robertos Karatzos, Mr. Ioannis Anagnostou and Mr. Alexandros Anastasiou. The Bebras® Competition offers a pleasant and rewarding challenge, which helps students become familiar with concepts and practices of Computer Science. Through this competition, children were asked to solve problems using logical and computational skills that they already possess, such as complex problem analysis, algorithm design, pattern recognition and generalization, and subtraction.
The school’s Principal, Mrs. Apostolina Saiti, congratulates the students of Grades 8 and 9 for their participation in the activity, which offers children valuable resources for the future, developing skills that contribute to modern digital education. The school continues to encourage its students to participate in initiatives that promote innovation, critical thinking, and extroversion, providing them with stimuli that enhance their personal development.
